Dessy partners with Cynthia Rowley on reknown designer’s first maid collection

The Dessy Group, a leading manufacturer of bridesmaid’s dresses and bridal apparel, announced a partnership with top American fashion designer Cynthia Rowley to produce Cynthia Rowley Bridesmaids, an exclusive collection of designer bridesmaids’ dresses.

Inspired by Rowley’s runway collection, Cynthia Rowley Bridesmaids dresses are designed to be appropriate for both day and evening weddings as well as long after the reception.

Design elements taken directly from Rowley’s eponymous ready-to-wear collection include tulle skirts and drop-waist silhouettes.

“Our runway collection directly inspires our designs for Dessy each season,” said Cynthia Rowley. “We wanted to bring a chic sensibility to bridesmaids dresses—a look that is pretty yet sophisticated.”

The line consists of floor and tea length dresses in fabrics such as duchess satin, cotton sateen and tulle, and in colors such as rose, black, charcoal, sailor blue and “American Beauty” (a deep pink).

Cynthia’s creative endeavors have proven to be award winning. The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) honored her with the prestigious Perry Ellis Award for Womenswear and recognized Cynthia again with a nomination for the Perry Ellis Award for New Menswear Design Talent.
