PLG refines Ella Rosa bridal line for Spring 2011
Things have been busy at the Private Label by G Design House. The company known best for its elaborate and intricate bridal gowns has been hard at work refining their other collections, namely its other increasingly popular bridal line, Ella Rosa.
This bridal line is a significant departure from the company’s traditional designs. Although the quality and construction remains high and meticulous, Ken Yeh, current marketing director, says that the design aesthetic was shifted so the company can stay “young and relevant.” “We are hoping to appeal to the modern bride. When we design for Ella Rosa, we think about the brides who don’t necessarily want a large wedding and the whole nine yards. They often prefer to give their weddings a unique and personal twist through DIY invitations…etc.”
Indeed the gowns for this Spring 2011 collections lack the traditional embroidery and elaborate beadwork that we’re so used to seeing. It is refreshingly minimalistic and architectural in its silhouettes. Brides of all styles will definitely have a fun time accessorizing these romantic white canvases to fit each of their wedding personality.
